Roc-A-Fella records was created in 1994 by three friends that grew up together in the same projects Damon dash Kareem burke and jay z multiple artists have been signed including one of the co owners jay z he came out with multiple albums making the label one of the top labels in the industry years later jay and Kareem decided to sell to def jam for almost $2 million dollars so Def jam made Jay a deal he couldn't refuse to be ceo.of Def jam and contol roc a fella label but Damon dash financial situations got him in big trouble now he's trying to sell his shares to pay off taxes worth $8.7 million dollars he also have to pay court judgement he lost over movie deal and $135 thousand in back child support he's not goi to have nothing left
